Day 25: Classic Lauren

Classic Lauren = Blown out and straightened hair Thank you everyone for your support during my hair challenge! I loved listening to all of your comments and suggestions. I really enjoyed it and I think I actually learned how to braid. I hope you have a very merry Christmas!

My Little Monkey

I saw a similar picture on Pinterest and knew I had to recreate it. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!

Day 24: Half and Half

Merry Christmas Eve!

Day 23: Side Bun

Merry Christmas Eve Eve!!!

Day 22: Double Side Twist

I used a smaller curling iron on my hair today than the previous posts to get a ringlet look. I got the idea to do the double twist from the picture above which was featured on Pinterest.

Day 21: Classic Ponytail

Just 4 days left of the Hair Challenge!!! I have really enjoyed trying out a new hairstyle everyday, but I'm ready for it to be over too. :)

Day 20: Hippie Chic

I got this idea from the picture below. You can buy the headband shown below on etsy.com. I cut up an old t-shirt and braided three strips together to get a comfy elastic headband. Then, I took three silk flowers that I had made previously and pinned them to the braid. Voila! A hippie headband.

Day 19: Boho Bun

Today, I am trying out the Boho Bun which was referred to me by my sweet sister-in-law, Katie. Below is Sienna Miller wearing this look. This hairstyle took a long time to accomplish and it also took many attempts but I like the finished product and it makes me feel fancy.  I had a really hard time getting a good picture of it since I am at home alone with the baby and I don't own a tripod.  P.S. I think I have about 50 bobby pins in my hair. :) UPDATE: My husband, Matthew, says this is his favorite hairstyle so far. I think it is mine too!

Day 18: Classic Curls

I used a curling iron to get this look.

Day 17: The Fun Bun

I am baking Christmas goodies today, so I decided another bun was in order. I think this is my least favorite of the buns I have tried, but it has stayed up really well today. It also went up really quick!
