Camp Blue Haven

I cannot say enough great things about Camp Blue Haven in Las Vegas, NM. It is one of my favorite weeks out of the entire year! The camp is located in the foothills, the climate is cooler and rainier than Texas, and it has completely gorgeous trees, sunsets, and the most brilliant stars. We get to see families and friends that we only see once a year and our kids get to run wild with a bunch of other kids. They get filthy dirty, eat the most delicious (and fattening) food, and most importantly learn about our glorious God. It is such a spiritual place and I leave every year with a fresh word from the Lord. I came back this year with a long list of things that I need to do, people I need to take care of, and changes that I need to make in my own life. Please pray that I can be faithful and not be lulled back into the security of my comfort.  Here are a ton of pictures from the week: Talent Show 5th Session Teachers Will, Reese, Bethany & Lydia ...

Welcome Baby Graham!

My newest nephew was born on July 8th. Graham Everett Cooper. He is completely perfect and adorable.

Reese's 2nd Birthday & 4th of July

We traveled to Abilene to be with our family for Reese's 2nd birthday. We swam in the pool, ate hamburgers, homemade ice cream, cookies, cupcakes and opened gifts. It was so much fun! Matthew had to head back to Fort Worth that afternoon so that he could take the youth group to Dry Bones in Denver on Sunday. Will, Reese and I went with my parents, grandparents, Andrea & Kendall out to watch the fireworks.  The 4th of July is my 2nd favorite holiday (behind Christmas) and is not complete before I do the following:  * Eat a hamburger * Eat homemade ice cream * Watch fireworks Check. Check. Check. The only thing that would have made it better was if Matthew could have been there with us.  Reese got tons of baby dolls and accessories, clothes, art supplies, & books.
