We spent 4 days, 3 nights at the cutest little cabin on the Medina River in south Texas. We stopped in Waco on the way to eat lunch and had to get a cupcake from Magnolia. Andrea, Kendall, Graham and Campbell also joined us. I cannot explain the joy I received from seeing my children swim in the same river I swam in as a baby, and my mom did as a child. We went down to our old swimming hole where we swung on the rope swing, and jumped off of the platform. We were there only 30 minutes before the camp staff asked us to leave. The upside was we found an amazing swim hole just down the road with "rapids", a cliff that Matthew and Will jumped off of, and plenty of shade. There were deer that came right up to the cabin and even ate out of the hands our children. They fed them hot dog buns and tortillas.
