AHS Football

Last Friday, my parents came up to Fort Worth for the first Abilene High football game of the season which was played in Lewisville agains Hebron High.

It was so hot and humid! There was not even a small breeze. We were all soaked in sweat after the first quarter, which caused some super curly hair and some stripping. AHS ended up winning! It was a great start to the season.

Yes. There is a sock in my hair. See this tutorial on how to recreate this look. I used the first method that she talks about. I tried the second method, but I think I have too much hair, because it created a giant bun.

Lamps

I'm looking for lamps for my living room. Aren't these cute? I saw them at Pier 1.  This lamp has a strip of fabric from my curtains on it. Don't you think it would look fabulous in my living room?
