Reese - 1 Month

Dear Reese,

Today you are one month old. You already weigh around 10.5 lbs and are about 21.5 inches long.

We thought Will was an easy baby but you are just as easy if not easier! You love to lay on a blanket on the floor next to your big brother who brings you toys to look at and helps put your pacifier back in your mouth. He also gives you lots of hugs and kisses. He loves you so much!

You sleep a lot! You are sleeping about 17 hours a day and you are such a good eater. You have quickly grown out of your newborn clothes are are wearing size 3 months.

You rarely cry unless you want to be held or are hungry. You are already so alert and strong. You are learning to hold your head up and several times I thought you would roll over at any moment.

Reese, we love you so much already. We can't wait to see what kind of personality you are going to have. We pray all the time for you that you will be a strong woman and a Godly woman. I pray that we will be good parents to you and that God will give us the wisdom we need to raise you. You are our treasure.

  1. She is so precious and cuddly. Loved holding her Sunday night after church! Do you make all of the baby items pictured on the right?

Bow Ear Warmer

We went skiing over Spring Break, so I decided to make a new ear warmer to take on the trip. The pattern for this ear warmer can be found on Ravelry.com. If you would like to purchase one, they are $19.99. Just comment on this post.

Day 11: Sock Bun

Yes. There is a sock in my hair. See this tutorial on how to recreate this look. I used the first method that she talks about. I tried the second method, but I think I have too much hair, because it created a giant bun.

Lamps

I'm looking for lamps for my living room. Aren't these cute? I saw them at Pier 1.  This lamp has a strip of fabric from my curtains on it. Don't you think it would look fabulous in my living room?
