Abilene C.A.L.F.

Grandma invited us to go the Abilene Children's Art & Literacy Festival (C.A.L.F.) this year. Will & Reese went last year while Matthew and I were in Africa and were excited to go again. The festival focused on Garth Williams who was the illustrator for Charlotte's Web, Little House on the Prairie and Stewart Little. There was a parade, face painting, book readings, crafts, a petting zoo, and a ventriloquist. Hot, but so much fun!

Bow Ear Warmer

We went skiing over Spring Break, so I decided to make a new ear warmer to take on the trip. The pattern for this ear warmer can be found on Ravelry.com. If you would like to purchase one, they are $19.99. Just comment on this post.

Day 11: Sock Bun

Yes. There is a sock in my hair. See this tutorial on how to recreate this look. I used the first method that she talks about. I tried the second method, but I think I have too much hair, because it created a giant bun.

Lamps

I'm looking for lamps for my living room. Aren't these cute? I saw them at Pier 1.  This lamp has a strip of fabric from my curtains on it. Don't you think it would look fabulous in my living room?
