4th of July

We continued the tradition of going to Abilene for the 4th of July this year. We were so sad that Matthew couldn't join us as he was in Africa. We saw the fireworks out in Clyde, ate homemade ice cream, swam, went to the zoo and had some burgers. I love this holiday!

Day 11: Sock Bun

Yes. There is a sock in my hair. See this tutorial on how to recreate this look. I used the first method that she talks about. I tried the second method, but I think I have too much hair, because it created a giant bun.

Lamps

I'm looking for lamps for my living room. Aren't these cute? I saw them at Pier 1.  This lamp has a strip of fabric from my curtains on it. Don't you think it would look fabulous in my living room?
