G-Daddy's Land

We drove to Abilene to celebrate G-Daddy's 64th birthday and visit mom at Lyndale. We took Dad out to eat at Belle's Chicken House and then had German Chocolate Cake for dessert. 

G-Daddy bought over 600 acres north of Abilene near Fort Phantom Lake. It's absolutely gorgeous! He plans on building a home out there someday. He let us drive his Polaris through the wheat fields, down by the tanks, and back around to the gate.

Yes. There is a sock in my hair. See this tutorial on how to recreate this look. I used the first method that she talks about. I tried the second method, but I think I have too much hair, because it created a giant bun.

Lamps

I'm looking for lamps for my living room. Aren't these cute? I saw them at Pier 1.  This lamp has a strip of fabric from my curtains on it. Don't you think it would look fabulous in my living room?
